Jessica Mills

Jessica developed an interest in languages while at secondary school, studying Welsh, Spanish, German and French. A degree in French and Italian at Oxford University followed, where she discovered a love of literary translation and spent time in Italy and Madagascar. Next came an MA in Translation Studies at Cardiff University, in which she specialised in literary, political and legal translation. As well as her work in translation, Jessica also has experience in education as a teaching assistant, trainee teacher and as both a private and in-house tutor. While her educational experience is largely at secondary level, she also enjoys inspiring a love of languages in primary-aged children.
